audio, today unveiled a selection of new battery terminal and ground
terminal products at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Featuring
innovative designs including 100% solid forged brass construction
and pulse nickel plating, the new products offer maximum performance
and a sense of style to mobile electrical systems.
StreetWires' new terminal products assure efficient electrical
distribution and connectivity throughout any car, truck
or other vehicle. The new products, which further extend the
company's comprehensive power distribution product lines,
include:
- BC4PF Fused Battery Terminal (Positive Side)-Supporting two
8-gauge direct wire outputs and one 4-gauge direct wire output, the
BC4PF fused terminal accommodates a 40-150 amp AFS fuse, eliminating
the need for an external fuse holder and protecting components
immediately after the battery. The device offers StreetWires'
exclusive Super Torx&Trade; clamp that tightens faster and stays ti
ghter longer than conventional pinch style terminals, and includes a
clear polycarbonate base and c
o
ver.
- GT20/GT24 Ground Terminals-Like its other ground ter
minal products, StreetWires' two new offerings provide a large su
rface contact area for ultra-low electrical resistance. The GT20
(2-0 gauge direct input) and GT24 (2-4 gauge direct input) feature
deep well, direct wire connections to keep cable jackets protecte
d and wire strands unexposed to moisture and dirt. Three mounting p
oints on each terminal ensure the tight and permanent moun
t
ing.
All StreetWires terminals use 100% solid forged brass, covered
in a pulse nickel plating to prevent corrosion. Unlike common
brass castings that include scrap material, StreetWires' 100% solid f
orged brass terminals deliver a higher material density that resul
ts in lower resistance and better overall electrical perform
a
nce.
