(PHOENIX, AZ) - Streetwires, the Art and Science of Connectology,
announces the release of new four-channel specific ZN2 and ZN3
interconnect cables. The four-channel models are shipping now and
are available in 2, 5 and 6-meter lengths.
The ZN2 and ZN3 four-channel models display a sleek, low profile
design for increased ease of installation. The new models also offer
right and left channel conductors that are twisted together (this is
known as “Twisted Pair” construction) for improved noise rejection.
Both the ZN2 and ZN3 are optimized for systems including a head unit
equipped with separate front and rear outputs. Ample channel
separation length at the end of the cable allows for use with multi-
channel amplifiers or separate two-channel amplifiers.
The ZN2 offers a combination of braided OFC copper wire in a Twisted
Pair construction insulated with Phase Flow high-density
polyethylene dielectric, which maximizes sonic purity. The ZN2’s
Sure Grip body is an ergonomically designed, black precision-molded
plastic and holds a Total Fit connector collar. The split center-
pin, gold plated and made of machined brass, ensures a purer signal
transfer from your source unit to your amplifier. By splitting the
center-pin into two halves, the segments become “Spring Loaded”
pushing outward against the inner surfaces of the receptacle
allowing the pin surface to mate more cleanly with the component.
This equates to a minimal loss of signal transfer. The Ultra Flex
dual-jacket design shows off the copper wire nicely, making the ZN2
an extremely attractive package.
The ZN3’s wire is a silver-plated ultragrain OFC copper in a Hyper-
Twist construction, contained in Streetwires’ proprietary Crystal
Flex single jacket. The silver allows for optimal transfer of
higher frequencies, while the Hyper-Twist construction virtually
eliminates the effects of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).
Combined with a precision-machined Sure Grip body, the ZN3’s
precision-machined connector collar makes installation and removal
of the ZN3 a breeze and ensures that you won't damage your RCA
jacks. The integrated Y-cable makes set-up easier and lets you
achieve deep, accurate bass and unprecedented realism in musical
reproduction. The ZN3 also has the same high-density polyethylene
Phase Flow insulation and split center-pin as the ZN2.
